The purpose of Missions is best stated as found in the Message paraphrase: Philippians 2:15 "Carry the light-giving message into the night..." The night in our world, nation, state, and our community."

OUR MISSION - To mobilize the church in mission through prayer, education, giving, and interactive experiences.
 

OBJECTIVES:

  • To encourage people to pray for all efforts of world evangelization.
  • To inform people of the world's needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs.
  • To challenge children and youth to learn about and participate in the mission of the church.
  • To raise funds for mission outreach.

Our District NYI took 72 youth and adults and built 3 houses for needy families the summer of 2004 in Juarez, Mexico. For more pictures, click here. In all, 4 projects among our district and churches built 7 houses, and helped with major projects in Arizona and Nashville, TN. All for the love of Christ!
